Every year, for more than four decades, the city of Aibonito hosts the best show and the largest plant sale on the entire island. Aibonito offers the ideal setting for celebrating the "Flower Festival," where all visitors delight in always finding the largest variety of exotic flowers and tropical plants in Puerto Rico.

As every year, the Festival begins on the last Friday of June and lasts for 10 days. This year, the Aibonito Flower Festival will be held from June 27 to July 6, 2025. With the motto "Exhibition gardens united by beauty with shades of color that adorn their flowers," the Festival will feature 32 gardens where all types of plants and flowers can be appreciated. A jury composed of current and former agronomists from the Agricultural Extension Service of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez will select the best gardens.
