When you read this description of the activity, you have to take into account our level of fitness & experience, our willingness to accept risk, the level of supervision, and the weather and/or conditions on the day we did it. STEP #2. ONCE AT THE GREEN GATE, WALK TO THE RIGHT AND ENTER THROUGH THE SMALL ENTRANCE AT THE END OF THE FENCE. BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A PRIVATE PROPERTY, BUT IS ALSO THE PATH LOCALS TAKE TO ENTER TO THE CAÑON FOR THE CHARCO TAPóN AREA. ENTER UNDER YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.
STEP #4. ONCE YOU GET TO THE LOCATION THE ENTRANCE OF THE NEXT PART OF THE HIKE IS THROUGH SOME BUSHES. THIS ENTRANCE IS A LITTLE BIT TRICKY, YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE FLOOR ENTERING THROUGH THE BUSH SO YOU CAN QUICKLY SPOT THE PATH. ONCE YOU SPOT THE ENTRANCE START HIKING DOWN.
STEP #5. HIKE DOWN approximately 15 - 20 min. And important to remember at this point that everything that goes down most come back up again.
6. CONGRATULATIONS YOU MAKE IT INSIDE THE CAÑON!! NOW ENJOY ONE OF THE LOCALS FAVORITES SPOTS IN THE CAÑON "CHARCO TAPóN"
